Jacqueline Green a Milton Keynes church leader is planning to attend a homophobic anti-gay rally in Uganda for the second time.

Jacqueline Green, the head of Stony Stratford Community Church in Milton Keynes is planning to attend a homophobic anti-gay rally in Uganda for the second time this New Year's Eve.

UPDATE:- I put together a video of Jacqui Green's views on gay marriage and the views of her violently homophobic colleague in Uganda, Bishop David Kiganda. Bishop Kiganda is the host of the event she is scheduled to attend and is a leader of the anti-gay movement in Uganda and advocates the slaughter of LGBTs. Despite her being fully aware of this, she still plans to attend his event in the next few weeks...

On December 31st 2013 she attended the 8th Annual day of Prayer, a 24 hour event organised and hosted by the openly, aggressively homophobic Bishop David Kiganda. The event was dominated by praises for the government for passing the controversial and internationally condemned Anti-Homosexuality Bill. The bill was previously known in the media as the "Kill the Gays" Bill as it included the death penalty for homosexuals.

MP David Bahati (the MP who originally proposed the "Kill the Gays" bill to Parliament in 2009) was also present and spoke at the event...

Uganda's Constitution Court recently nullified the Anti-Homosexuality Act that was passed by Parliament in December 2013 and signed into law by President Yoweri Museveni in February this year. It was nullified by the court on the grounds that there was not the necessary quorum, as there were not enough MPs present in parliament at the time it was passed.

The law which originally included the death penalty, which was removed at the last minute, imposed a life sentence on homosexuals. It also required that parents, teachers, landlords etc. report any known homosexuals or face prison themselves. The bill also included a clause that bans any so-called "promotion" of homosexuality, which makes any support or sexual health organisations illegal.

Over 250 MPs have signed a petition to get the Bill reenacted and a group of Christians led by their Pastor recently presented the Speaker Rebecca Kadaga with a petition over the nullified Anti-Homosexuallity law. Part of the petition signed by Pastor Wilber Mukisa said: "We still need this law to help curb funding, promotion of homosexuality and to protect our people, especially children from being recruited into this dehumanizing lifestyle. We are behind the MPs who have up to have the law re-tabled in parliament.”

The level of homophobia in Uganda has been rapidly increasing in recent years. This has been fueled by the anti-gay propaganda being imported into Uganda from the west. Despite zero evidence the Ugandan people are convinced that homosexuals from the west are infiltrating their schools and "recruiting" children into homosexuality. They have been told homosexuals are pedophiles and prostitutes and that it is a learned behaviour. They believe it is "un-African" and is a western import, when in fact the aggressive homophobia and anti-gay propaganda is what has been coming from the west destroying the fabric of the Ugandan society. Desmond Tutu has compared the level of homophobia to that of the Antisemitism in Germany before the Holocaust.

Western fundamentalists, who have been losing their war against homosexuals in the wast have turned to Africa and funneled millions into training African Pastors, particularly in Uganda, to preach against homosexuality and spread baseless propaganda to the masses.

Jacqueline Green was invited back to this years event and can be seen on the poster for this years rally in a couple of weeks...

Also attending the event is Apostle Arnold Muwonge, who has strong links with Jacqueline Green's church. He also attended the event on 31st December 2012 when attendees were urging the government to pass the "Kill the Gays" Bill while it STILL included the death penalty.

Among the attendees that year were Cambridgeshire based evangelical and UK registered charity owner Paul Shinners. The following video shows him praising the "Kill the Gays" Bill...

Shinners criticises Barack Obama for his opposition to the Bill and the persecution of homosexuals, praises Uganda for what they are doing, says people in the UK support them and says that they are making "a stand for God" and that God is happy that they are trying to pass legislation that would give homosexuals the death penalty.

Bishop Kiganda is one of the leaders and most vocal voices in the Anti-Gay movement in Uganda. He was part of the National Task Force Against Homosexuality and has been filmed showing graphic gay pornography in his church. Prior to the nullification of the Anti-Homosexuality Act he said "If gays win the court case tomorrow, trust me, we are going to slaughter them, they are few in number and we know that" on his radio station calling for the murder of members of the LGBT community in Uganda...

Anyone having any association with this violently homophobic man, particularly from the west gives the implication of support to the people of Uganda. Here is the video of Kiganda as part of the National Task Force Against Homosexuality and showing graphic gay pornography with his equally homophobic colleague Martin Ssempa in Kiganda's church...

In the following video you see Kiganda talking about god destroying Sodom and Gomorrah because they were gay and then you see him on stage with David Bahati (the MP who wrote the anti-gay law) saying that the punishment for being gay should be death. They also bring out a person who is "ex-gay" and say she was bribed and coerced into homosexuality (when in fact it is the anti gay preachers who have bribed people to say that they have been cured). He can also then be seen showing graphic pornography in his church to mock and vilify LGBTs and praying over MP Bahati saying they are anointing him to "slay the Goliath of Sodomy in the name of Jesus".

The following article proves that the national day of prayer is an anti-gay event...

Addressing tens of thousands at the seventh annual National Prayer Day and Night at Nakivubo Stadium, several pastors also warned legislators against siding with the Western world, saying they risked losing their seats.

We ask Members of Parliament to stop wasting time debating the Bill but simply pass it to save school-going children, who are at risk of being recruited. Our leaders should desist from any act that would frustrate this proposed law because it has delayed,” said Bishop David Kiganda, the leader of Christianity Focus Ministries (CFM). Bishop Kiganda, also said "the vice threatened the morality of the people". At that time the bill still included the death penalty.

A draft of Uganda's new Anti-Gay legislation, The Prohibition of Promotion of Unnatural Sexual Practices Bill (a replacement for the annulled Anti-Homosexuality Act) was recently leaked...

The new law promised as a "Christmas present" to the people of Uganda makes it illegal to provide employment, housing, transport and even health care to members of the LGBT community.

This new bill has been promised as a Christmas present to the peolpe of Uganda by Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, just like the old one was in December 2012 and includes harsher clauses than the original bill and equates homosexuality to bestiality.

Western evangelicals from the UK and US have been preaching hate in Uganda which has led to anti-gay legislation that has caused extreme persecution of the LGBT community and led to an increase in violence, rape and murder. It has also led to a rise in HIV infection rates as people no longer have access to health care.

Near the start of the year, the human rights group Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) released a report detailing the increase of homophobic attacks in the wake of the bill's passage. The report detailed an attempted lynching, mob violence, homes burned down, blackmail, lost jobs, arrests, evictions and suicides. The survey recorded 162 incidents since the legislation was passed by parliament last December. By comparison, Sexual Minorities Uganda recorded only eight incidents in the rest of 2013 and 19 in the whole of 2012. “[This] represents an increase of between 750% and 1,900% on previous years,” the report notes, “an increase which can only be explained by the passage of the AHA and the virulently homophobic atmosphere this has engendered.” In four cases, men accused of being gay were kidnapped and tortured. There were 29 incidents where the media “outed” individuals who were later subjected to further persecution. A 17-year-old boy committed suicide by swallowing rat poison and pills on 3 April because he felt his life had no further value. There have been many more incidents since the report and in the wake of the nullification of the AHA there were more attacks where people have taken the law into their own hands.

This year's National Day of Prayer will likely be praising the passage of the new anti-gay law or urging parliament to pass it if the government fail to deliver on their promise to pass it as a Christmas present. Anyone attending this event or working with Bishop Kiganda should be ashamed and apologise to the LGBT community in the UK and Uganda and condemn Kiganda and the anti-gay movement and attempt to make reparations for their actions. In Jacqueline Green's sermons she can be heard expressing her opposition to gay marriage, but surely no decent Christian person could support the abuse, hatred and murder of their fellow man.

Green said the following in one of her sermons on Sunday 24 March 2013, in reference to the legalisation of same-sex marriage the transcription starts at 21:11 (click here for the link)...

"We are called to speak out about injustice, are we prepared to do it? When god asks us to speak and it’s going against what other people in our society are saying, are we going to speak out? Am I considering how to love people in need even when it’s costly?

Am I taking responsibility for things in our society like lobbying the MPs over the marriage issue. We’ve had lots of things coming through about that. But it’s no good us moaning as Christians when the law has changed and saying “oh this is terrible”, if we are not prepared to do something now while we have the chance to speak out.

And marriage is just one of those issues, there are many, and if we are going to be resolute disciples, a hundred percent focused on god, we’re going to have to find a voice somehow as the people of god and start speaking out more about issues which are beyond us."

Desmond Tutu has said Uganda's Anti-Gay Law has Nazi parallels and likened the level of homophobia in Uganda to the antisemitism in Germany before the holocaust.

The new law will leave LGBT people homeless, jobless, unable to get medical care and vulnerable to homophobic attacks. This is the furthest from "love thy neighbour" that you can get.

Despite being informed about the nature of the event she is attending and the views and actions of her host (Bishop David Kiganda), Jacqueline Green, the head of Stony Stratford Community Church is STILL planning to attend the National Day of Prayer in Uganda this New Year's Eve.

New Leaked Anti-Gay Bill Promised As A "Christmas Present" To Uganda

A draft of Uganda's new Anti-Gay legislation, The Prohibition of Promotion of Unnatural Sexual Practices Bill (a replacement for the annulled Anti-Homosexuality Act) was recently leaked...

The new law promised as a "Christmas present" to the people of Uganda makes it illegal to provide employment, housing, transport and even health care to members of the LGBT community.

The previous bill passed in December 2013 and signed by President Museveni in February 2014 was annulled by the constitutional court on a technicality (not the required quorum) in August. The MPs all signed a petition to bring it back. This new bill has been promised as a Christmas present to the peolpe of Uganda by Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga, just like the old one was in December 2012 and includes harsher clauses than the original bill and equates homosexuality to bestiality.

Homophobic Evangelical Paul Shinners Faces Protest by Ugandan LGBT Activists

A large group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Ugandans descended on St Neots, Cambridgeshire on Saturday to protest against evangelical Paul Shinners for his failure to apologise for participating in an anti-gay rally in Uganda on 31st December 2012, where he spoke in favour of the DEATH PENALTY for LGBTs.

Please share and contribute if you can...

According to San Francisco-based human rights activist Melanie Nathan the protest was launched to confront Shinners and demand an apology, as he had traveled to Ugandan to preach at a rally where Christian leadership called for passage of the Anti-Homosexuality Act at a time when it was referred to as the "Kill the Gays" Bill.

Shinners was challenged by several human rights activists back in 2013 over what they termed as “his radical Christian extremist views” when he participated in The 7th National Day of Prayer in Uganda hosted by the aggressively homophobic David Kiganda.

Yesterday’s protest was organised by the Out and Proud Diamond Group (OPDG), consisting of Ugandan LGBTI exiles and their allies, human rights activists Melanie Nathan and myself.

The protestors surrounded the Cornerstone Café, A Christian coffee shop owned by a charity operated by Shinners. The large group of LGBTI exiles and their allies, carried banners, chanted and drummed, calling for an apology from Shinners. They chanted slogans that included:

• Paul Shinners, some Ugandans are gay get over it.
• Preach love not hatred.
• Shinners keep your hate out of Africa.

Shinners came out and engaged with some of the protestors, calling them “bigots” and threatening them with police action. The photo below shows a despondent Shinners complaining about the legal demonstration to a local policeman … and getting nowhere.

Shinners flatly denied saying ever saying that “Uganda would be blessed” for proposing the “Kill the Gays” Bill. He even threatened Nathan, Duke and myself with legal action for “defamation”.

But after a great deal of effort, I managed to obtain footage showing that Shinners had consistently lied about his hate-mongering in Uganda. The video shows Shinners preaching on a stage shared by several homophobic Ugandan religious leaders, where they praised Ugandans for their stance against homosexuality and called for passage of the Bill, which included the Death Penalty...

I subsequently launched a successful appeal to raise funds for a video to expose the activities of Western anti-gay pastors who travel to Africa and other foreign destinations to drum up hatred against LGBT communities. I have since launched a fresh appeal for additional funds and I would be grateful to anyone who would be able to support it.

According to Nathan, Shinners "has continued to refuse to take responsibility and apologize for his participation at that rally where, merely by virtue of his appearance, and regardless of his words, he supported the Bill that contained the death penalty for gays."

One of the protestors, Edrisa Kiyemba, of Out and Proud Diamond Group said "its unfortunate that Paul Shinners is a free man in the United Kingdom, yet I cannot be free in my home country – because of his homophobic preaching in Uganda."

At the time of Shinner’s appearance at the rally, the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Bill, which contained life in prison and the death penalty, had yet to pass. The Bill was passed a year later and soon overturned by the Ugandan courts because Parliament failed to pass it with the required quorum. Parliamentarians are seeking to re-table the Bill. Thought it was nullified as at the time of it's passing there were not enough MPs present, the passage has led to a 2000% increase in homophobic attacks and the situation for LGBTs in Uganda is going from bad to worse.

Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act Returning Soon

Please share and contribute if you can...

Crowdfunding Campaign Video. Please Watch and Give if you can

The law which originally included the death penalty, which was removed at the last minute, imposes a life sentence on homosexuals. It also requires that parents, teachers, landlords etc. report any known homosexuals or face prison themselves. The bill also includes a clause that bans any so-called "promotion" of homosexuality, which makes any support or sexual health organisations illegal.

MP David Bahati (the MP who originally proposed the bill to Parliament in 2009) has begun the process to re-table the Bill. According to the House Rules of Procedure, once the Bill is re-tabled, it will be referred to a committee where revisions are considered, brought back to the House for debate before proceeding to the third reading, which is the final stage before the Bill is passed.

A group of Christians from Portbell Road Fellowship hand their petition to Speaker Kadaga

According to pastor Mukisa, now is the time for Uganda to look for genuine developmental partners who will value Ugandans and respect their culture.“This is because no amount of Economic Aid can be compared to the values and well-being of our people and the destiny of Uganda in God,” he said.

Western Evangelicals, who have been losing their war against homosexuals in the wast have turned to Africa and funneled millions into training African Pastors, particularly in Uganda, to preach against homosexuality and spread baseless propaganda to the masses.

The death penalty clause was replaced with life in prison at the last moment, but before this there was still near unanimous support for the Bill, which was then known as the "Kill the Gays" Bill. Despite the death penalty being removed Ugandans have taken it's passage as a green light to commit acts of violence and even murder. Police have also assaulted LGBT individuals and some youths have attempted and committed suicide.

Human Rights advocates Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) released a report detailing the increase of homophobic attacks in the wake of the bill's passage.

In December 2012 Speaker Kadaga even promised the Bill would get passed as a Christmas present to Uganda. On New Years's Eve of that year a number of Christian events took place across Uganda. These events were dominated by a call to pass the "Kill the Gays" Bill. One such event was the 7th Annual Day of Prayer, hosted by Bishop David Kiganda...

Bishop Kiganda was part of the National Task Force Against Homosexuality and has been filmed showing graphic gay pornography in his church. Prior to the nullification of the Anti-Homosexuality Act he said the following on his radio station...

One of the attendees at Kiganda's National Day of Prayer was Cambridgeshire based Evangelical Paul Shinners (seen on the above poster). Shinners is the head of the UK registered charity "Passion for Souls Ministries" and he runs a cafe/bookshop called the Cornerstone Cafe in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire. He was quoted in a Ugandan newspaper as speaking in favour of the "Kill the Gays" Bill, but he denied this in a statement to the local paper and issued threats of legal action to anyone who tried to get clarification from him on what he said. He was consistently dishonest and lied and issued threats to anyone who challenged him.

He went to great lengths to eradicate any copies of what he said in Uganda. One individual was even attacked for trying to obtain a copy. Despite being told the recording had been deleted from all the data sources in Uganda, I eventually managed to track down a recording of Shinners through a contact in Uganda. The video showed that the newspaper report was accurate and that Shinners had lied to try to cover his tracks and protect his business. The following video shows the portion of the video where he discusses the "Kill the Gays" Bill...

Shinners traveled to Uganda as a member of River Church, a member of the Evangelical Alliance. Rob McFarlane, the leader of River Church, came to the UK from Zimbabwe where he ran churches for 18 years, where like Uganda, homosexuality is illegal and homophobia is widespread.

Since returning from Uganda Shinners has run a church out of his Cafe with services on Sundays where he regularly preaches against homosexuality and "healing" sessions on a Thursday evening. His healing sessions consist mostly of exorcisms, which he calls "deliverances" and he claims to be able to cure anything from Cancer to Infertility and even claims to be able to cure homosexuality. He has been heard to say that he is "like Jesus" in reference to his ability to heal people.

Shinners has enjoyed the support of his church and despite this video coming to light he still has the backing of the local papers and the Charity Commission, despite the fact he has openly lied to the papers and is in breach of the Charity Commission regulations. Due to lies suppression of the truth Shinners still enjoys a thriving tax free business, staffed by volunteers, under the umbrella of his charity. It has been business as usual and staff and customers either agree with him, believe his lies or are just unaware of what their money and time is helping support.

The architect of the bill, US Pastor Scott Lively traveled to both Uganda and Russia before they published their anti-gay laws. He is the author of the "Pink Swastika" a book in which he claims the Nazis were a secretly gay organisation and is currently being sued by SMUG in the US in a landmark case for his involvement in Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act. Despite his private feelings even he had tried to distance himself from the bill, given the barbaric and draconian inclusion of the death penalty. Paul Shinners, however stood on a stage in front of thousands and was broadcast to millions over the radio as telling the people of Uganda that god was happy with Uganda for trying to pass the "Kill the Gays" Bill. He criticised Obama for his opposition to the bill and said they were making a stand for god, that Uganda would be blessed and that people in the UK were saying "well done Uganda".

Paul Shinners has committed a hate crime. Calling for the genocide of an estimated 500,000 Ugandans based on their sexuality is unconscionable and to do so by manipulating their religious beliefs and preying on their desperation and superstitions is sickening and disgraceful.

Scott Lively addressed an anti-gay conference in Uganda just before the country’s homophobic law was first drafted and he is due to stand trial for Crimes Against Humanity for his role. Why does Paul Shinners not share the same fate?

Shinners and others like him need to be exposed and brought to justice and the individuals and organisations that can, but haven't taken action against him need to be held accountable and their cowardice and ineffectiveness highlighted.

This Anti-Gay legislation needs to be stopped before it returns and the spotlight needs to be placed on religious charities that operate in these regions. Other nations need to see that this behaviour cannot continue in the form of political and economic sanctions. The homophobia and Anti-Gay legislation has began to spread with African nations falling like dominoes back into the dark ages. Most recently Kenya proposed Anti-Homosexuality legislation that would punish Kenyan homosexuals with life in prison and foreigners would face being stoned to death in public. This means that Ugandans who fled to Kenya after the passage of Uganda's harsh law would now face the death penalty. Also the Gambian National Assembly recently gave its near-unanimous approval to a bill which would impose a lifetime sentence upon conviction of homosexuality. A draft of the bill contains language identical to that of Uganda's anti-gay bill.

Uganda's Anti Gay Bill to Return as Early as Next Week

Ugandan Lawmakers are determined to reinstate one of the most draconian laws in the world. Uganda’s anti-gay law could be returning as soon as next week.

A group of lawmakers have announced they will call for a motion, to reinstate the law, be passed in parliament on Tuesday (12 August). The 165 members of parliament who have signed the petition are hoping a swift vote will undo a ruling last week by Uganda’s Constitutional Court that invalidated the Anti-Homosexuality Act. The Act was nullified on grounds that it was passed without the required quorum. The law punished homosexuality and the promotion of homosexuality with life in jail.

Lawmaker Latif Ssebaggala said: ‘We want to ensure everybody that we have not backtracked. We are still on course and in fact we are more energized that our culture, our norms, our religious norms are protected.’ They claim it is in their right to demand that laws be passed without following proper procedure, and that the Anti-Homosexuality Act should be reinstated immediately.

Gay rights activists have warned that parliament, under pressure from religious influences and public, could do anything to ensure the law gets reinstated as soon as possible.

Edwin Sesange, a Ugandan gay rights advocate has said ‘I call on the LGBT community in Uganda and human rights defenders all over the world and to be prepared for the worst because it looks like people are so determined to promote their hatred. We have to be prepared as much as we can.’

Also the Attorney General of Uganda has filed a Notice of Appeal in an attempt to reverse the Constitutional Court’s judgment. Advocates are now preparing to fight the appeal all the way to Uganda's Supreme Court

Legislators collect signatures to retable Anti-Gay Bill...

UK Evangelical Paul "Kill the Gays" Shinners spoke in favour of the Bill at an Anti-Gay rally in December 2012, while the Bill still included the DEATH PENALTY. Shinners is the Managing Director of a UK Registered Charity and has been on many trips to Uganda and other African Nations spreading his hate speech. He also claims to have Jesus-like powers and claims he can cure diseases like Cancer on his website. He regularly performs "healings" and exorcisms (which he calls "deliverances") on members of his church.

Here is what Shinners' aggressively homophobic host in Uganda on a number of visits had to say on the radio the day before the Anti-Homosexuality Act was overturned by Uganda's Constitutional Court...

Paul Shinners is part of the St Neots based River Church family and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, a outspokenly homophobic, anti-gay interntional Evangelical Network. Shinners has the support and backing of the Leader of River Church, Rob McFarlane, who came to the UK after running a Ministry in the aggressively homophobic Zimbabwe for 18 years, where like Uganda, Homosexuality is illegal...

Here the Evangelical Alliance demonstrates it's deeply homophobic views and dangerous, unethical position on Homosexuality...

Ugandan Court Rules Anti-Homosexuality Act As Unconstitutional, But The Fight Is Far From Over

The Constitutional Court in Kampala has declared the passing of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill into an act as null and void. On Friday, a panel of five judges unanimously nullified the Anti-Homosexuality Act on grounds that it was passed without the required quorum.

LGBT activist Kasha and colleagues celebrate after court nullified the anti-homosexuality law

However, the Government is now going to petition Supreme Court over Court ruling on the Anti-Homosexuality law. David Bahati, the MP who introduced the bill in 2009, has said that the Attorney General will petition the Supreme Court over the Constitutional Court ruling on the Act, just hours after the court nullified it.

“I want to thank the speaker, MPs who stood for what is right. The court case ruling is no victory at all, the morals of the people of Uganda will prevail,” Mr Bahati said in a press briefing before adding, “The Attorney General who is very competent will petition the constitutional court over the constitutional court ruling. Our competent legal team will continue to petition the Supreme Court and I believe we will win.”

Before the court ruling Bishop David Kiganda (the Ugandan host of UK hate preacher Paul Shinners on at least 2 occasions) said the following on a radio talk show:

"If gays win the court case tomorrow, trust me we are going to slaughter them, they are few in numbers and we know that."

FULL VIDEO of Paul "Kill the Gays" Shinners Speaking in Uganda

Here are the 6 minute "highlights" of the 7th National Day of Prayer in Uganda, where Homophobic Evangelical Paul Shinners spoke in favour of Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality, which was known as the "Kill the Gays" Bill as it included the DEATH PENALTY at the time...

Below is the full 51 minute video. After condemning the west for their opposition to the Bill, he condemns the media for trying to trap him and his Homophobic host, Bishop David Kiganda regarding their support for the Bill. He repeatedly talks about the west and media pointing fingers at Uganda and it's politicians and says that Obama should get his own house in order before pointing fingers at Uganda. He drives this message home by talking about the "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" story of the Bible. Rather than use this story to say that Uganda should not murder homosexuals, he uses it to say that the west should not judge Uganda because they have issues of their own. He then goes on to repeat the story he told the previous year about his wife being abused at the age of 6 and being unable to bear children, but says he now has 2 children. He says they are a blessing from god, but in the UK he has said that both his children are cursed and have demons in them as they were born Autistic as a punishment for being a womaniser when he was a professional football player. He then tells the barren women to stand and tells them god will give them children by the next year. He also claims that on his previous visit in 2011 he had a terminal, neurological condition affecting his brain for which there was no cure and that it caused his head to lean to one side. He said this could be seen in pictures and video from the previous event, however there appears to be no such leaning on the other video and he seemed perfectly healthy and more energetic than he did in 2012. He said that when he returned to the UK from Uganda god had cured him of his terminal disease. He also said that Uganda had been cursed by Satan and that the curse is now lifted and god will bless Uganda and bring them wealth and prosperity. He says that the countries that have threatened to withhold aid over the "Kill the Gays" Bill will soon be coming to Uganda begging for money from them

By explicitly mentioning and supporting the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, he has shown him to be a complete liar. In an email to me last year on the 9th February 2013 he said "It is such a shame that you did not consult with us first to help make sure the legislation is not passed in Uganda. We too are against the bill and could have used our influence to help stop it if we had known earlier." He both knew about the bill and supported it before I contacted him and everything he did and said to me, other individuals, the public and local press and the charity commission after that was just lies and deception to cover his tracks.

VIDEO Showing Homophobic UK Evangelical Speaking in Uganda

The vile, odious UK hate preacher Paul Shinners went to Uganda on the 31st December 2012 and stood on stage with a number of other preachers and joined in with calls to pass the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. At the time it was known as the "Kill the Gays Bill" as the punishment for homosexuality was the DEATH PENALTY.

Despite being quoted speaking in favour of the Bill in the Monitor, a Ugandan Newspaper, he denied what he said and embarked on a campaign of lies and deceit to cover his actions. He made false statements to the local press in the UK and sent two of his colleagues Phil Groom and Chris Jefferies to be his mouth piece on Facebook and Blog posts on the subject. They were rude, belligerent and facetiously trying to cause arguments and discredit the reports and anyone trying to bring these disgraceful activities to the public's attention. Shinners played the victim and made empty threats of taking legal action against anyone who spoke against him. He lied to and manipulated the local papers to make himself seem the innocent victim.

He made many efforts to eradicate all evidence of what he said in Uganda. All of David Kiganda's events are recorded and available to be purchased with the exception of the event Paul Shinners spoke at. He had successfully had the recording removed from most data sources in Uganda for "security reasons".

That is why it took so long to come to light, but I have finally managed to acquire a recording.

Here is what was said by this evil, deceitful man in support of the "Kill the Gays" Bill...

Here is a 2 minute clip. For extended clip showing more homophobic remarks and the full 51 minute video please go to the latest post by clicking here.

Shinners criticises Barack Obama for his opposition to the Bill and persecution of Homosexuals, praises Uganda for what they are doing, says people in the UK support them and says that they are making "a stand for God" and that God is happy that they are trying to pass legislation that would give homosexuals the death penalty

Here is the original article in the Ugandan Newspaper:

Calls to pass the anti-gays Bill dominate New Year messages

Paul Shinners is the Managing Director of the UK Registered Charity, Passion for Souls Ministries. He also runs the Christian Cafe/Bookshop, the Cornerstone Cafe in St. Neots.

Address: 2-6 Cambridge St, St Neots PE19 1JL
Phone: 01480 471505

Paul Shinners is guilty of Hate Crimes and has gone against International Human Rights Laws. He is a religious extremist and has a Messiah Complex. He claims he is like Jesus and has cured Cancer, the blind and homosexuals among other things...

These claims made on his website are illegal under the Cancer Act of 1939.

Shinners has not only lied to his customers, the local community, the local papers and anyone who has asked for clarification on his views, but he has also lied to the Charity Commission. Despite what he said in Uganda, he still enjoys tax free Registered Charity status and relies on volunteers to staff his cafe and maximize his profit. He is a stain on the reputation of Christians everywhere and is as evil, misguided and delusional as the Muslim extremists who spread hatred and convince others to commit horrible acts of terror.

As a result of Shinners actions and the other Ugandan Christian Pastors, the Bill was passed by Parliament and signed into law by the Ugandan President, Museveni. Although the DEATH PENALTY was removed at the last minute, the passage has been seen as a green light for mob violence and police brutality towards members of the LGBT community in Uganda. Shinners is aware of the beatings and murders that have increased ten-fold since the Bill was signed in February. Lesbian women are subjected to "Corrective Rape" to cure them of there homosexuality and the situation is so bad right now that many have committed or attempted suicide because the situation seems so desperate. When I spoke to Shinners he showed no remorse, empathy or concern for the plight of the LGBT community in Uganda and only spread more lies and played the victim.

He has said that homosexuality is a sin and a lifestyle choice and has acted out fisting and claimed that homosexuals lick their hands afterwards. This is very reminiscent of Pastor Martin "eat da poo poo" Ssempa who has shown graphic gay porn in Bishop David Kiganda's Church. Kiganda was also Shinners host in Uganda on many of his visits over the last decade, including on the 31st December 2012. The following video shows Ssempa and Kiganda as leaders of the National Task Force Against Homosexuality and showing pornography in Kiganda's Church...

Here you can see Shinners' host, Kiganda discussing Sodom and Gomorrah and Kiganda and Ssempa praying over David Bhati, the MP who presented the bill to parliament back in 2009...

In addition to his views on homosexuality, Shinners has told myself and others that children who are born disabled are born that way because of demons. He has said that all his children have demons in them and were born Autistic as a punishment because he was a womaniser in his days as a professional footballer. He performs exorcisms each Thursday in his cafe to remove people's demons. He calls these exorcisms "deliverances" and they are often performed on the weak, ill and vulnerable and keeps them coming back with false claims and false hope that he can heal them.

Shinners needs to be stripped of his Registered Charity Status and face what he has done and suffer the legal, personal and financial ramifications of his despicable actions.

Shinners has had the unwavering support of his fellow trustees which include his wife and the former police officer Paul Imrie (who were with him in Uganda when he preached against homosexuality) and the members of his former church, River Church. The head of the Church (Rob McFarlane) and one of the leaders (Jim Fitzgerald) of River church used to be trustees of Shinners' charity. Shinners claimed to have nothing to do with River Church, but this was just another lie. Shinners' Passion for Souls website used to claim "We are proud members of River Church," but since he was caught in Uganda speaking in favour of the "Kill the Gays" Bill he left the church and become the leader of his own Church based in his Cafe.

Below is a photo of Shinners standing next to Rob McFarlane, the head of River Church, who also ran a Evangelical Church in Africa for 18 years in Zimbabwe where like Uganda, homosexuality is also illegal...

In a sermon by Rob McFarlane at River Church St Neots, he said (at the 21 minute mark):-

"The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you, will be defeated before you. And they will come at you from one direction, but flee from you from you in seven. How awesome. I can see them coming against that Cornerstone shop and there's seven directions and four will go down North, South, East, West, the four corners. I don't know where the others are going to go, but they're going."

-from "Paid in Full" on Sunday 24th April 2011

The links followed on River Church's website show that they take a deeply homophobic view on the LGBT community, for example supporting Conversion Therapy (which is dangerous and has a zero success rate and only leads to depression and suicide).

Rather than denounce Paul Shinners' anti-gay rhetoric in Uganda where he spoke in favour of the DEATH PENALTY for homosexual acts, McFarlane openly supports this vile man. McFarlane is also a religious extremist and fundamentalist. If he want's to spread his hate and intolerance he should go back to his home country where it is legal to do so. If Muslim hate clerics like Abu Qatada get deported, why not do the same to the Christian ones?

McFarlane even wrote a book on how to recruit children, which is the very thing that Shinners and his evangelical colleagues are falsely accusing homosexuals of doing in Uganda. The irony and hypocrisy would be amusing if they weren't destroying people's lives in the process.
